Creating a Digital Vision Board is just like creating a collage. The one problem with creating a regular Vision Board is that we cannot easily move a picture or change it without a hassle.
What is a Vision Board?
A Vision Board is a simple yet powerful visualization tool that activates the universal law of attraction to begin manifesting your dreams into reality. A vision board is used to visualize the things that you want to have, be, or do in your life or business.
Creating a Vision Board.
Creating a vision board is usually done by cutting out pictures and gluing them to a large white board. The one nice thing about having a digital version of your vision board is that as you grow the vision board can grow with you. You can move pictures around, delete them and add new visions.
Normal vision boards are tacked or stuck to the back of a door and when you are away from home you do not have access to its content. One way to take it with you is to take a picture so that you can view it when you are on the road. With a digital vision board, it can be printed then taped to just about anywhere and easily replaced along with the fact that it can be put on your tablet, Kindle, notebook, laptop, desktop, phone, mp3 and possibly send it to yourself in an email. This could even be your permanent background image so that it is always in front of you to check from time to time.
Here are some simple steps that you will take to get you started. First, create a folder on your desktop and name it “vision board.” Second, search the web and look for pictures that you want to use followed by downloading them to your “vision board” folder. Third, open your favorite graphics program and create a new document that is 11” x 17” and a resolution from 100 to 300. This will work well when printed and taped to the wall.
Normal Vision Boards are usually done in portrait mode when hanging on the wall but for your computer you want to create one in landscape mode. This makes it easier to see on a computer especially if you want to use it as a background image. Create a document that is 17” x 11” instead of 11” x 17”.
If you are going to use it on any computer or mobile device then create a .jpg since most mobile devices will not read your native graphics program file.
Below is a quick tutorial to help with the creation of a simple Vision Board. Have fun and I wish you all of the abundance that you deserve.
